Osteopaths treat people for a wide range of conditions, including pain and stiffness in any area of the body, from head to toes. They use a variety of hands on techniques and are noted for their sensitive and finely tuned sense of touch (palpation).
Osteopaths can also treat visceral conditions such as Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Constipation, Stomach Ulcers, Period Pain.. and the list goes on.
There are also a range of gentle techniques that can be used with children as young as a new born. Treatment is safe during pregnancy.
Techniques used include cranial osteopathy, soft tissue massage, muscle energy techniques, manipulations and general joint mobilization.
